Chapter 80 Epilogue

• *ONE AND A HALF YEARS LATER*
• Time passed, though I couldn’t say whether it was fast or slow. I just know that the days passed, and my life got into a bit of a routine. I get up in the morning and do some yoga poses. I eat breakfast, then take a shower. I spend an hour in the yard, I read, or I play solitaire. I’ve gotten really good at solitaire. There’s lunch and dinner in the mix before lights out. I get up and do it all over again.
• I keep things simple: nothing from the canteen, no makeup, no drugs, and no drama. I just focused on doing what I needed to do so I could get through this. I didn’t try to make friends or get close to anyone. There were no visits, no phone calls, and no mail. It was just me, that’s it. Some would mess with me, but it didn’t last long. Once they realized that I didn’t care and I wasn’t going to react, the fun was gone for them.
