• We didn’t linger once Evan came back to the cabin. We quickly threw some clothes in bags and set the cabin up to be left for a few days. Evan called ahead and got us a reservation at a hotel. The plan is to stay there for two nights, tops, then come back out here. It would be stupid to try to stay longer since I’m being sought after.
• Cooper was excited to go on a trip, not knowing why we had to travel anyway. We felt it best not to explain everything to him since it wasn’t important at this moment. Cooper wanted to play some games in the car, so I obliged him. Slugbug was funny to him, never having played before. It wasn’t an easy game to keep up, so we had to think of other things to do.
