Chapter 42 Transport

• The last two days, I’ve been kicking myself for agreeing to this arrangement. I don’t understand how I get myself into these situations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some kind of doormat. I don’t let people walk over me, and I don’t bend to everyone’s whims. I don’t know what it is about this guy; I just never want to tell him no.
• I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do with this woman. He told me she’s recovering from a tough situation and is pretty out of it. He says that her head is wrapped up, only her eyes and mouth exposed. She’s in pain, but she will have pain medicine with her. I’ve been instructed on how to administer the medication and to make sure that she eats.
