• I swear I’ve used all my resources to find my wife, yet I’ve come up empty. I don’t bother with the police anymore because all I get is, ‘we will call you when we have something.’ They make it seem as if she went away willingly and there’s nothing they can do to find her. I have a private investigator out there, but I’m sure he will come up empty.
• Neela is many things, but she isn’t stupid enough to run away. She knows I will find her, and she will pay. I know someone moved her some way, and my money is on that little mouse assistant of hers.
