• “I have no idea where he was. He said he was going to take care of some calls while he waited for you to get here. I didn’t see what car he was in, and he didn’t leave any contact information. He bought your piece and said that he saw some great opportunities for you.” I nod my head and sigh. It already took as long as it did to get here, and I’ve been waiting since. I hate leaving Neela and Cooper unattended for so long right now. Steven is looking for her, and it doesn’t feel safe to have her alone.
