Chapter 43 Are You

• It’s been days, and she hasn’t said a word. She hasn’t asked for anything or really made herself known. She hasn’t even looked at me. Whenever I go into the room, she makes sure that her back is facing me. I’ve given her the medication like clockwork and tried to get her to eat. Anytime I’ve attempted to, she’s pushed me away. I just leave the food and swap it out at every meal.
• I don’t really know what to do with her or how to get her to get up. I don’t want to push her too hard, but I’m becoming concerned. I don’t even know her story, so I can’t even begin to understand what she has gone through. I’m tempted to call and ask him what to do, but he said the less contact, the better.
