• My body is deliciously sore, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t know what came over me last night. It’s been so long since I’ve gone after what I wanted. I just saw Evan standing in front of me, and I had to have him. I never even considered that he would refuse me or he would get angry.
• My life has been all about toeing the line and walking on eggshells for years. Any spontaneity I’ve had in my body or any independence was literally beaten out of me. Being around Evan makes me remember who I used to be and makes me want to act like that woman again.
