• “Where the fuck is she?! Where’s my wife?!” We are sitting in front of Nokio’s desk, and he’s not responding. I risk glancing at Steven and immediately regret doing it. He looks murderous; like he will rip anyone’s head off at the slightest provocation.
• We’ve been here for a while, and it’s been a shitshow the entire time. Nokio maintains that he knows nothing about Neela’s disappearance, and Steven refuses to buy it. I’m not sure why he’s so adamant about Nokio being involved, but here we are. In the beginning, I doubted Nokio as well, but when I really thought about it, I realized there was no reason to do so. He wouldn’t benefit from helping Neela escape from Steven.
