  • The snow looked like a white blanket covering the road I was walking on. I was cold, but I didn’t care; my feet felt numb as I stepped on the thick snow. The people we met on the sidewalk stared at me with surprise and confusion, as if I were a strange person.
  • Maybe it was true, who would walk in the cold barefoot and wearing only the clothes on their back? I’m sure I’ll get hypothermia soon. But I’m not worried about that, there’s something I’m more concerned about—myself. I try to remember the memories that remain in my mind as I look around.
  • I go to the train station to go to a place that appears in my memory. It could be the address where I live. The people on the train stare at me with the same look I’ve been getting, but I don’t care.
