Chapter 11

• Daniel waved at me when I met him at the Queency Corp office cafeteria. The cafeteria was located next to the primary office building, so it was accessible to outside visitors and employees alike. I stared in surprise at the white plastic that Daniel had brought to the table.
• “Come on, let’s have lunch.” Daniel broke my reverie for a moment and turned to look at him. I sat down in one of the chairs opposite him with slow movements.
• “Isn’t this inconvenient? I’m afraid you’re also busy at the hospital.” I reluctantly blurted out my thoughts and true feelings to get Daniel’s attention. The man smiled and took out some food from a plastic bag.
