• I panicked inside myself and tried to rebel in the midst of my unfavorable situation. The people who were around me at this time were trying to grope my body and rip off my clothes. However, something happened in the next second. As if my current place floated and then landed hard, I heard the sound of glass breaking, and my head hit something hard, and my consciousness disappeared completely.
• I woke up and stared at this strange room. The smell of carbolic mixed with the scent of mint made me wrinkle my nose a little because, to me, it was a sharp scent. My head instantly returned to give me pain. I groaned and touched the gauze first.
• “Hey, don’t move too much, honey. You’re safe and will be fine.” Lucas’s voice instantly made me look up at him. I paused for a moment as I looked into his dark eyes, searching for the reason why I was in this state.
