Chapter 42

• I woke up hungry at three in the morning. I realized I was wearing nothing under the covers, and Lucas was fast asleep next to me. It was my apartment, and we had just made love a few hours ago with so much passion. It was as if there was no tomorrow to enjoy this anymore, and we were so excited about it.
• I got off the bed slowly, rushed to the wardrobe, and grabbed my pajamas. It felt strange that my body was fine, even though making love to Lucas for hours required more energy.
• I grab a mug of hot chocolate and take it to the balcony. I enjoy the view of the city at three in the morning. I've never done it before, and the view is incredible. The night breeze was quite warm, and it made me smile.
