• Lucas hugged me and immediately checked my arm, which was wounded by the bullet. I was starting to feel the sting of the wound as well as the panic that engulfed this room, and the people present at this event were beginning to get to me as well. Ace approached Lucas and me, who was still on the stage near the small podium.
• “Ace, take my Luna to a safe place and get her treated. I’ll investigate this matter.” Lucas gave clear orders before Ace and I could leave; Daniel, Lucas’ father, and Daniel’s mother came over to us.
