Chapter 44

• My body seemed to float in the air and felt light. When I opened my eyes, I saw a tiny dot shining in the darkness, like the stars at night. I smiled, and it comforted me. Then I felt the temperature around me; it was like I was in a cold refrigerator, but it didn’t bother me. It was quiet and still here.
• Where am I? Am I dead?
• I guess that’s impossible. I still feel the pulse of life throughout my veins, and there’s a slight movement in my stomach. My hand immediately touched my stomach, and the movement stopped because of my slight caress.
