• Eve was now inside her father’s study, together with Lucas, Neil, and Arom. Neil and Arom had actually been about to leave earlier, but Eve stopped them. She knew she wouldn’t be able to speak properly if it were just her and Lucas alone. Lucas would surely use his charm to distract her.
