Chapter 55 Be Ready

After spending two nights in the hospital and being declared healthy by the doctor, both mother and child were finally allowed to go home. This time, Eve wasn’t just returning with Lucas, but with a new member of their family.
Chase was fast asleep in Eve’s arms, and she kept looking down at him with so much love. She still couldn’t believe she was a mother now. Even though the future ahead was uncertain, it didn’t lessen her happiness at having Chase and Lucas in her life.
They arrived at Eve’s house just before noon. Eve was quite surprised to see a line of servants welcoming her at the front door.
