• Eve froze in her seat, staring at Berlina and Tatiana as if she were seeing ghosts. She desperately hoped this was nothing more than a nightmare or just another of her daydreams, but when Berlina spoke again through the microphone, it was as if Eve was yanked out of her daze and forced to face a terrifying reality.

• The drama Berlina put on didn’t last long because the guards climbed onto the stage and ordered both women to leave. The guests whispered among themselves, watching as Berlina and Tatiana were escorted out of the room.
