Chapter 97 An Unexpected Gift

• It was seven in the evening. Kimberly watched the servants busily arranging the food on the table. As per Damian’s orders, Kimberly was only allowed to supervise the servants preparing dinner for his birthday celebration. Well, she had actually wanted to prepare at least one dish herself, but the servants had immediately stopped her. After all, they had been threatened by Damian.
• In front of Kimberly, a variety of dishes from several countries had been served. Not only Western cuisine, but also French, Mexican, Italian, and Japanese. Even though it was just a celebration for two, the spread was still incredibly complete—and undoubtedly delicious. A two-tier birthday cake was already there as well. Earlier, Kimberly had asked a servant to order the cake from a well-known bakery.
• “Ma’am, all the food has been served. Is there anything else you need?” one of the servants asked Kimberly.
