• Damian straightened the tie around his neck, then slipped his watch onto his left wrist. Moments later, he grabbed his phone from the table and stepped out of the bedroom, heading to the dining room. Morning had arrived, and as usual, the handsome man wanted to head to the office right away. But before leaving, he’d have breakfast first.
• As Damian approached the dining room, his steps halted when he crossed paths with Keiza, who was entering too. No greeting passed between them. He merely shot her a cold glance before continuing inside and taking a seat at one of the chairs. Keiza’s face fell gloomy at Damian’s indifference toward her. Even though she’d stayed overnight, the man hadn’t spoken a word to her.
