• “What? So tomorrow, you and your husband’s step-uncle are going to Chicago? Just the two of you? I mean, none of your assistants will be accompanying you?” Carol looked shocked when Kimberly said she would be going to Chicago with Damian.
• Kimberly sighed heavily. “I’m going to Chicago with my husband’s step-uncle because my father’s company is collaborating with Uncle Damian’s company. I don’t know if Uncle Damian will bring an assistant or not. I’m not bringing my assistant because Brisa is managing my company here. You’ll be fine, right, if I’m gone for a little while? I’ll only be in Chicago for about four or five days, it won’t be long. If you’re overwhelmed handling our new company, you can ask Brisa for help. I’m sure Brisa will help you.”
