• Sunlight streamed through the window. Kimberly blinked several times as the glare hit her face. Slowly, she began to open her eyes while massaging her forehead. But just as she was about to move, she suddenly felt a firm hand encircling her waist.
• Kimberly immediately turned her gaze to the side and, in an instant, her expression changed as she saw Damian sound asleep, hugging her waist tightly. Her breath caught. Her face paled. The look in her eyes clearly showed panic.
