Chapter 56 Suspicion Mixed With Confusion

• “Damian, it’s getting late. I have to go home now,” Kimberly said, gently stroking his jaw. She sat on his lap in the penthouse lounge while he absentmindedly watched TV.
• They hadn’t worked at all today, instead just enjoying their time together. Damian hadn’t worked either. Their quality time was precious. Unfortunately, Kimberly couldn’t stay long. After all, she was still legally married to another man.
• “Why don’t you stay the night, Kim? Don’t go,” Damian murmured, burying his face in her neck. He didn’t want to let her leave. What he wanted was for Kimberly to always be by his side.
