• Rafe stretched his long paws and let out a dazzling yawn. Nicholette couldn't take her eyes off the gaping maw, its huge tongue and sharp fangs opening up in her direction. He could swallow her. It took a moment for Rafe to come back to his senses from his nap. His eyes adjusted to her being there and he sat up. Nicholette sat up in front of him, still covering herself.
• Rafe stretched his neck to lick her forehead. Then he smelled her hair, her neck and her breath. Only then he transformed into his human form. Nicholette saw the chiseled and furry build fade into the man's nakedness. An impressive man, nonetheless. Rafe was too handsome to hide away under the wolf. Or was she now noticing that human Rafe and wolf Rafe shared some features?
• “You don't have a fever. That’s good. The Greyback didn't leave you with an infection. How are you feeling?” Rafe smiled at Nicholette.
