• The manager's body twitched and almost reflexively she blurted out, "The security cameras.... The cameras broke this morning and we haven't had a chance to fix them yet..." She only realized what she had said after the words had left her mouth and her face immediately turned as pale as paper.
• "Broken off?" Luna Lisa laughed as if she'd just heard the stupidest joke ever, but her eyes were sharp as knives. "Well, that's perfect timing. The cameras in my Queen's flagship store go off just when someone ‘witnesses’ my daughter-in-law breaking clothes? And every single manager and employee here is pointing the finger at my daughter-in-law?" Her voice shot up, thunderous with anger. "Who the hell gave you the balls to do that!"
