• Lily's POV
• The noise of the city felt like it was being shielded by an invisible barrier. Luna Lisa and I walked side by side into the swanky shopping center of Green Park. The afternoon sun fell warmly and gently through the huge glass dome above us, and even the wind that blew by had something gentle about it.
• As I clung to Luna Lisa's arm and felt the care she gave me without trying, a long-lost warmth spread through me - like when I used to snuggle up to my mother as a child. It was enough to melt away the years of coldness I had carried inside me.
