• There was a loud and sudden humming which startled Lupa, she span around to see her kitchen bathed in a white light, it got brighter and purer than that of the moon until the Moon goddess revealed herself.
• "Lupa," the Moon goddess said. Her voice was gentle as she spoke. "You have done well, leading your pack and guiding them with wisdom and courage. But now, I come to you with news. Things are about to change, not just for your pack, but for all wolves, for all were-kinds."
