Chapter 22
- Lupa threw a look over at Alpha Kali, wondering if he agreed with his Beta, but his eyes were boring back into hers. Apparently, there was a big uproar about Lupa killing the vampires, when she wasn’t asked to. Well, the uproar was mostly coming from Asher and Catori, both insisting that Lupa was acting as if she had a say in pack affairs.
- “She had no right to kill those vamps, I could have handle everything. All this… girl had to do was to call me and I could have captured them.’’
- “Let’s not ignore the fact that this… man, didn’t tend to a fallen wolf. Your mate could have died, Kali, and he left her there.’’ Lupa shot back. “Besides that, I don’t find sense in his argument. Why would we keep those vamps’ captive, we all know that they would have called others from their clan to come rescue them, which is why I will stand by what I say. This… man, was the one to let them in.’’
