• As everyone went about their day, carrying out their duties, tending to the crops, training some of the young wolves to use their abilities, and a few leading the children into playful games. Christian was in the midst of it all, working diligently alongside the wolves, his hands moving deftly as he helped carry baskets of harvested fruit.
• Lupa stood at the edge of the orchard and watched the scene with a little smile. She had seen him transform, the man they thought was a threat was now partaking in the pack’s everyday life and helping build with them for the better.
