• Slowly, I came back to consciousness as my head throbbed with a faint ache. I struggled to open my eyes as my senses me back. The first thing that caught my weary eyes was a hanging rope, with its rough texture hanging above me, a threatening mental image that caused me to shiver in fear.
• My mind became foggy as I wondered where I was at the moment. I tried to move, but a scorching pain surged through my body, and I realized I could not move. What was going on with me? I wondered as my eyes scanned my surroundings, taking in the dusty objects and old tools covered with cobwebs. With the look and the smell of this room, it seemed to be an abandoned storage room. How did I get here? What was I doing here? I asked myself as panic surged through me.
• I tried to lift my arms, but they wouldn't budge. I did the same to my legs, but they wouldn't move. My limbs were not active, but I could feel them, they weren't numbered. As my head lowered to see what the problem was, I realized that I was tied up with ropes that dug into my skin.
