Chapter 13 Nicole

• What have I gotten myself into? I fumbled for my things, so I could catch up with Nicholas before he left. I could tell he was furious, he was mad at me because he saw me with Julian.
• If I was in his shoes, I would think the same thing. I would say he was having an affair. I know the feeling. But how would I clarify the misunderstanding when he doesn't even want to see my face?
• How would I explain to him that I didn't know Julian sent the flower until today? How would I explain that I didn't invite Julian, he just came in unannounced? With Nicholas, I took one step forward and ten steps backward. Why must it be like that?
