• The consistent beeping sound welcomed him as I gained consciousness. Slowly, I opened my eyes as I drifted awake. My sight was blurry, but I could still tell that I was in the hospital. I could see two people in a lab coat discussing intensively. What am I doing in the hospital?
• “She is awake.” Someone said and immediately, the doctor, I will assume, hovered over me as he opened my eyes widely to check it.
• “She is stable.” He turned to face someone else who was in the room. My eyes followed the doctor's movement and I saw Nicholas standing in front of me. His eyes remained glued on me even as he spoke to the doctor.
