• Maddy settled into a comfortable position on the bed, grabbing a pillow and cradling it in her lap. She let out a deep sigh before beginning to speak in a hushed tone.
• "Austin and Nova were college sweethearts. They were deeply in love, and Franklin, who was Austin's arch-nemesis back then, had a thing for Nova too. You know how rich kids can be, always competing and whatnot. Franklin was smitten with Nova, but she only had eyes for Austin."
