- The sleek black car, provided by Ryder, glided smoothly through the rain-soaked streets, its windshield wipers swishing back and forth in a steady rhythm. Sara sat stiffly in the backseat, her arms crossed and her eyes fixed on the window, her anger and hurt still simmering.
