Chapter 64
- With a great creak the heavy cabin door swung open, and the sound resounded in the silence of the room. Sara entered, blast with her anger almost visible in the still atmosphere. She frowned, and her hands shook a little at her sides as she stared at Austin, who lounged in an armchair quite unmoved, apparently, by her arrival.
- “It is all out of hand! It is your fault!” she cried, and her voice rose with her anger. Every word was heavy with frustration as she moved a step nearer, her pulse beating fast. "You might have prevented this!"
- The composure of Austin was broken in a moment. He arose furiously out of his chair. There was a change in the air, electricity of some silent tension. He moved quickly, bridging the gap between them in a flash and before Sara could make a move he had pushed her against the glass window. The concussion sounded in the cabin, the chill surface meeting her back.
