• "What is she doing here?" he demanded, his eyes never leaving Sara's face.
• Christopher looked up from the papers on his desk, a hint of surprise on his face. "Sara is here as my new assistant," he explained, his voice calm and even.
• Austin's eyes widened in incredulity, and he took a step forward, his fists clenched at his sides. "You can't be serious," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "This woman is rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. She can't work here."
