• Christopher sauntered down the hall; saw Sara at the elevator with a box. He strolled up to where her, eyes expressionless and curious. "Where are you off with that box?" he asked, pointing to the box
• Maddy (walking behind Chris), “She believes that you and Mr. Reed are going to fire her for her actions today, so that she is leaving on her own schedule.”
• Christopher's eyes met Sara's, a twinkle of amusement in them. Who told you I was gonna fire you? he coaxed in a grave voice. Come on, no one is going to fire you because you said so-and-so, the durn jerk he definitely is—arrogant. He laughed dully and chuckled a little. "And yep, an ass hole sometimes," he murmured almost inaudibly.
