Chapter 22

• Just as Austin's fingers were untangling Sara's hair from his shirt button, an employee walked into the room, a look of surprise on his face. His eyes widened as he took in the scene before him—Austin and Sara, tangled together, their faces inches apart.
• The employee's eyes darted back and forth between the two of them, and he quickly apologized, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt..." before beating a hasty retreat.
• Austin and Sara quickly scrambled to their feet, their faces flushed with embarrassment. They both tried to call out to the employee to stop him and explain the situation, but it was too late. The employee had already disappeared around the corner.
