• Sara’s eyelids grew heavy from all the driving. No sign of light shone outside and all that could be heard was the gentle sound of the engine.
• Austin maintained his focus on the road in front, using just a few little movements to steer the car around each turn. There was a silence between them.
• Sara slightly went off to sleep, her head moving lower and lower as time passed. She noticed the car going forward, but soon she couldn’t fight off sleep anymore and closed her eyes. Without realizing it, she fell asleep and her breathing became relaxed.
