• If my mother was as greedy as Vesna described her then there will always be a way to expose her. I invited her out shopping at the mall while Max had to excuse himself since he was busy at work. I couldn’t blame him for not tagging along since women can’t tell the time when it talks to shopping. And I wouldn’t want her to suspect something if Max is around. Aside from that he did mention being not in good terms with my mom since I was kidnapped. But does she even have the right to say such a thing?
• While scanning the clothing store we got into, I prepared many questions in my head. I wanted to have the same courage as I had back then when we were not on good terms. But it seems like a lot had changed already and I am happy with how we are now. Though I can’t take the risk to get betrayed again when I knew I could have done something about it.
