Chapter 72 Exchange

  • AMAYA’S POV
  • I don’t know why I get really anxious with those men when they don’t even seem to harm someone. They were patient with me and was respecting my demands at all costs. But I would always get startled whenever that man suddenly caress my hair while I pretend to be asleep. I tend to wake up at any movements or sounds I hear and as much as I don’t want them to disturb me, it always does. Just like tonight, I heard the door click and noticed a couple of huge shadows looking in my direction. I tried my best not to move for them to notice that I was awake. They weren’t talking at first, but when the other one moved out and walked back in, and was permitted to leave, the next thing I heard was a huge thud on the door and the sound of a man trying to wake up someone named, Flynn. I was guessing that there were a total of three people who owned those shadows and there was only one left. He was now breathing so fast that he sounded like me the first time I woke up with no idea how I even got into that bed or know what even happened to me.
  • All I could think of was my name and those flashes of memories I don’t want to recall where it involves a lot of men. Though right now, I don’t know why but I felt concerned and wants to know what is going on. So I didn’t even realize that I was already sitting on my bed looking at some men that at first, I thought I should be afraid to be with. One of them was holding a paper bag on his nose and mouth while breathing, the other was staring blankly at his phone. As I read the situation, there seems to be going on that made them so shocked like that. I wanted to ask but I don’t think I have the right to do so. I waited for them to look my way but after the other one calmed down, he threw the paper bag on the couch and left the room. I was expecting the other guy to follow but before he left the room, he let out a heavy sigh and raised his head seeing me wide awake. I tightened my lips, refusing to say anything to him so he just stood and looked sad. With the dimmed light, his emotions fit along with the atmosphere. Though I realized that it was not a good way to describe it.
