• MAX’S POV
• As Vesna continued with her story, Amaya was hauling in tears. I tried to stop her but she just kept on going. The Amaya I knew once acted cold and would try not to show her sympathy. Though she changed into an open book. Maybe all those experiences made her so delicate that it's making me want to take care of her even more.
• I listened to Vesna’s story but I couldn’t escape the thought to doubt her. I mean how open is Amaya to these kinds of possibilities? And knowing Vesna she could have the tendency to lie. Because ever since she worked for me, I never once saw her get busy with her phone nor even heard of having siblings. What I do know is that she’s smart and manipulative. She can make someone be on her side with just a good story. As she calls it before, a business claim. A convincing assurance. It was quite useful when we were still working together but if she dares to lie to Amaya about this, I don’t know what I’d do. Besides looking out for Amaya’s condition, I keep on staring into Vesna’s eyes looking for something that could convince me that she was just bluffing but I couldn’t see anything.
