Chapter 74 Guilt

• MAX’S POV
• Now that Amaya can remember everything, I felt threatened by Flynn’s presence. I know that at first, I may have been okay with it, but right now I am definitely not. His habit of holding Amaya’s hand every night and falling asleep came back. Her anxiety comes back from time to time but she knows when it is us so she can relax. Though right now, when I saw Flynn like that with Amaya caressing his hair- I felt like I wanted to be in his position instead. But who am I to interrupt?
• I continued walking in as Amaya saw me and smiled. I moved closer to her as we greeted each other with a kiss on each other’s cheek. She doesn’t seem bothered by it but I was- I wanted to slap Flynn’s face awake. I wanted him out of the city right now.
