Chapter 67 Love Is Care

• MAX’S POV
• After three days since Amaya got admitted, Flynn finally came. I also reminded him about not bringing along his sister and he was cool about it. I was glad to catch up with the things that happened in his life and to the thought that he’s never been into a relationship since. He explained that he was way too busy to be ready for it but I doubt it wasn’t that. Amaya mentioned to me that, Flynn and she still communicate. I was fine with it, it's just that I know that being busy was not his only reason. The way he looks at Amaya on the hospital bed is still the same. As for being busy, I doubt he would even say yes to my request if that was the case.
• Vanique and I decided to let Amaya stay in her room in Galiviosa since it is where she might want to be. Also, Flynn and the rest can stay there too since we got all the accommodations. I insisted on providing their perishables but Flynn rejected it. So I never tried to force him. It has been a week since they got here and there are some days that I couldn’t get myself to sleep but whenever I try to visit Amaya in her room late at night, I happen to see Flynn sitting on a chair beside Amaya’s bed sleeping while holding her hand. I don’t know why but I don’t feel jealous at all. I’m more pleased to see someone care about her so much and sometimes wonder if the way Flynn cares about her could match mine.
