Chapter 17 Vengeance

• AMAYA'S POV
• When we arrived in New York everything was in a mess. As soon as they found out that I arrived already, everyone was trying to talk to me at my office but I couldn't entertain them one by one. Vanique on the other hand, was now acting like my assistant since Malia is still not awake while Diego and Noah haven't fully recovered yet. Even though she just had a very bad miscarriage, she was still trying her best to help me. With that, she scheduled a meeting for everyone that wants to talk to me while my body is feeling numb because of the bumpy ride I just had on the plane. And yet, I can't stop because of that.
• During the meeting, as I listened to everybody's investigations and suspicions, they were all leading and pointing to the same person and that's Howard's CEO, Max. And with all these problems gathered in one place, it only gave me a lot of tactical revenge.
