I didn't have any idea what it could be and I just blurted out without thinking about the consequences. Though will there be?
Her eyes widened after I asked her those words and she was speechless for a while. It made her stand off the sofa and walk around her office. I can't really guess what she was thinking so I just stayed silent. Nervous about how she will answer me. It was not the best thing to ask since we just saw each other again but I don't want to be late as well. Back then, when I found out that she suddenly got married to Hugo, I was very upset that I kept forcing Ace to find out how it all happened and if it was just a rumor that people can't get over because they were popular businessmen. But then, Vanique called and said it was true. I can't risk that ever happening again.
