Chapter 56 Changes

• After the incident in Galiviosa. Reporters were camping right in front of each building the Galiviosa owns waiting for a chance to interview either the employees or the board members about the incident. The news immediately spread all over New York City as soon as the public saw a group of police cars and ambulances in front of Galiviosa. Which later on brought in the CEO, Amaya Wescott, and Francoise Lefebvre, the Heiress of the Oasis with both having severe injuries. Now, everyone was wondering about what could be the things that happened inside that got them hurt so badly like that. Not to mention that Miss Lefebvre has a metal stuck on her belly. But what triggered everyone's wonder the most is Mr. Max Howards, the CEO of Howards Inc., who was present in the incident. The public's conclusions were most likely that maybe the two ladies were fighting over Mr. Howards but then others defended that Miss Amaya was already married to Mr. Hugo Lefebvre, the next president of Oasis and Brother of Miss Francoise. Some also said that maybe Miss Wescott had an affair with Mr. Howards and it made Miss Francoise get furious at defending Mr. Hugo. But will it need to end up this deadly if it was just that?
• After the bloody fight, Amaya had to stay inside the hospital for a month for a total recovery while Francoise had to stay longer due to the surgery she had to undergo. But her recovery was not getting faster as the police were on the watch to keep her from doing things that could harm more people. That time as soon as the police arrived, Max immediately submitted the audio recording he had on his phone to prove that it was not Amaya that'll be blamed. Though, they continued with the investigation. Then as soon as they had gathered more evidence against Francoise they filed a case against her. Even without Amaya's presence, the representatives of Galiviosa fought hard for her despite her recent absence from the company. After many weeks of trial, Amaya was freed from the issue and Miss Francoise Lefebvre was proven guilty of the attempted murder of Mr. Conan Evans, Mr. Flynn Harris, and Miss Amaya Wescott. It was like she was tortured all over again especially when Hugo testified against her. Behind Hugo's accident that involved Ace, who's Max's friend, he didn't feel the need for them to say sorry when he felt more guilty because of what he thought he brought Amaya into. So he offered his full cooperation for the investigation and the trial since he felt so responsible for bringing Amaya close to Francoise. Mr. Harem Lefebvre, the father of Hugo and Francoise was also sued by Max Howards because of Francoise's confession in the recording that her father was the one behind the massacre of his family along with the other evidence that he gathered along with Ace on their investigation. He, later on, was proven guilty of multiple homicides, destruction of property, and other illegal things he has done. The case also made Hugo become the new CEO of Oasis and swear to take good care of it. As for the issues with the media, Galiviosa's board members recommended that everyone that was involved in the incident should take a break from appearing in public recklessly. 'The Bloody CatFight' as the media named it, made a huge impact on the business. So, Max, Hugo, and Amaya should be best to stay hidden for a while to cool off everything and to avoid more issues. This decision made Max go back to California and let Amaya and his relationship take a break as well. Their year was a total roller coaster ride though.
