• AMAYA'S POV
• I am currently in my office facing all the documents I needed to sign and review. Yet behind this bunch of works, My forehead rests in the palm of my hands while my elbows are on the table. Overthinking or reconsidering all the other possibilities.
• I couldn't relax at all after my encounter with that police officer. She didn't want to let Hugo know about it that as soon as Hugo came into her office, we already changed the subject. Like I was just having a conversation with someone who was a fan of mine. Though something tells me that I needed to meet her again. She might know something I don't. I might have been misled by a different suspect or something. Maybe it's a good thing that Max shouldn't be here with me now. I can't risk seeing him getting hurt too. I still love him behind all that. I can't keep lying that I don't anymore.
