• The following day, Amber settled into her office routine, arranging files and grouping reports from each hotel department. The office was quiet with Xavier and Parker absent, allowing Rachel to slip in unnoticed. Rachel settled in the chair across Amber’s desk, with a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Hey, Elizabeth, I heard you went to Japan with Mr Astor, tell me all the juicy details--”
• “That trip happened to be confidential, Rachel. And I know you’re aware.” Amber gave her a knowing look.
