• The next day, Amber woke up to the scent of food wafting through the air, she stretched and yawned as she got out of bed and out of the room. To her surprise, the staff were nowhere to be seen, but the aroma was coming from the kitchen.
• Curious and hungry, Amber climbed down the stairs and made way to the kitchen. As she walked in, she couldn’t her eyes--Xavier was standing at the cooker, expertly flipping pancakes. The morning light streaming through the window, highlighted his handsome features, making him look like a culinary god.
• “Xavier?” She asked, her eyes fixed on his features. “What are you doing? And where are the staff?”
