• “Why would you say that to them?” Amber asked Xavier once they were back at the ryokan, “They’re from different parts of the world and it’s obvious they don’t know you—”
• “Yet.” Xavier cut in, his smile was slow and deliberate as he sipped his tea. “They're eventually going to find out, so why not give them a head start?”
• Amber gritted her teeth, her words coming out in a rush. “From what I gathered from Parker, you've been hiding your identity as CEO for years, and now you're just letting it slip like this?!”
